Getting Personal - Blog Series for “Three Decades in Thirty Days”
“Three Decades in Thirty Days” passages are meant for anyone to look into their own lives and reflect on experiences that brought them to who they are today. They are general, non-specific and sometimes a little vague. This is on purpose, so the reader is primed to contemplate about past, present and future events from their own world.
Yet as the author, people have often asked me what experiences I’ve had to write these passages. As someone who is naturally private, and sometimes secretive, I hesitate to dive into the - sometimes several - events that have played out in my life to make me come to these certain life lessons.
In my “Getting Personal” Blog Series, I’ll go through the “Three Decades in Thirty Days” Day 1 to Day 30 reflections and describe what I was thinking when I created each lesson. Every week, for the next 30 weeks, I’ll write about my personal experiences, personal thoughts, personal traumas of how my conclusions came to be. Maybe no one will see it, maybe millions will. Either outcome is insignificant for the reason why I’m doing it.
To whomever reads this - enjoy.
With love,
M.C. Johnson
